Week 2 Discussion Board
Ontological shock is something that shakes us to the very core of our being, thus forcing us to call into question our cherished worldview or interpretations of our experiences. When we experience ontological shock, the worldview we once took for granted is displaced, thereby forcing us to reanalyze our old assumptions.
Address the following:

1. Relate the notion of ontological shock to a time when your worldview was shaken.
2. How did you respond to the shock?
3. Did it make you morally sensitive and more likely to act upon your moral beliefs?
4. If you have never experienced ontological shock, think of something that would cause you to experience it and describe your reaction.
