You will prepare a 3-5 minute informative speech over your chosen LinkedIn company from your chapter 9 memo.
You are provided two of the three main points; the third will be your decision (you musthave a third main point). The speech should have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion that contains the following:

Points will be deducted for every 30 seconds over or under the allotted time. You are permitted to use no more than three 3×5″³ note cards during your speech, but please do not read directly from your notes, as you will use the extemporaneous speech delivery method. For more information about extemporaneous speaking, and business presentations in general, refer to chapter 12.
**You do not need to turn in an outline or paper for your speech.**
After recording your speech, you will upload it to YouTube and make the link unlisted. Then, you will link the video to this discussion board. Instructions for recording and uploading a speech can be found here. Along with your speech, you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation. Directions and guidelines for your PPT can be found here. You can turn in your PPT here.
You will prepare a PowerPoint presentation to go along with your informative speech. The presentation should consist of at least seven slides
1. Title Slide
2. Preview Slide
3. First Main Point Slide
4. Second Main Point Slide
5. Third Main Point Slide
6. Conclusion Slide (a copy of the preview slide)
7. Works Cited Slide
Additionally, it should follow the guidelines set forth in chapter 12 (pp.400-405). Please read carefully about proper background and font colors and how to use the 6×6 rule.
The slides will be graded on background and font color (10 points), use of the 6×6 rule (15 points), proofreading (15 points), and required number (as stated above) of slides (10 points).
