Thiscomponent will serve as the area for which your senior project will bebased. For my topic I have chosen Prison/Corrections: Over Population and OverCrowed or Over Population as a major problem in Prisons/Corrections.
Next, identify a challenge or area of improvement within your chosenarea. (For example, one may choose corrections as the topic area andviolence in prisons as the problem). Over the weeks of this course, youwill progressively research, learn about, write and present on asolution to the challenge or area of improvement from both a tacticaland administrative perspective. Receive approval from your professor onyour chosen topic. Additional project expectations are described in week8. Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you address the following: Outlinethe context of the problem or challenge, including the history and anypolicy decisions that have contributed to the situation.
