Discuss the role of a public safety leader in extreme “life & death” situations?
To expand on the question, what are the responsibilities of the public safety leader in:
Responding to extreme circumstances themselves?
Readying their agency and it’s members to respond, whether or not the the leader is present during the event?
Preparing the community they serve to to be prepared in the event of a “life & death” occurrence?
What is the leader’s responsibility to prepare their community for recovery following what we are calling life & death or extreme circumstances?
