Public Speaking: Description: At the beginning of the semester, I stated that regardless of what your career plans are, public speaking opportunities will most likely be a part of your future. For this assignment, students will write a 2-3 page reflection paper (Times New Roman, 1 inch margins, doublespaced) on their experience in this public speaking course and how they have grown as a speaker throughout the semester. Within our syllabus, there are 8 speech competencies provided (see below). I want each student to reflect on their own individual semester in public speaking and do the following: 1.) Pick 2-3 of the competencies that you believe you improved on this semester in our speech class. Explain why you think you improved on these and what helped with your improvements.
