The two parts in this assignment will work as the foundation for the Unit VII Course Project.<br />
Part 1: Project Topic<br />
Select the critical infrastructure for which you will develop your plan; you can use the same critical infrastructure that you used for your Unit II Project, or you can select a different critical infrastructure that is briefed on the webpage below:<br />

After selecting a critical infrastructure, develop a brief essay that meets the criteria below: Provide the background on the selected critical infrastructure/target. Please describe the infrastructure in your own words; do not copy the description from the webpage.<br />
Provide examples of potential targets (e.g., a power supply plant, water resources, a military base, a shopping mall, a full stadium during an event, government buildings, an airport, a city center).<br />
Briefly explain why the location is vulnerable to an attack.<br />
Discuss what type of terrorist event will hypothetically take place at the critical infrastructure. You can select any type of terrorist event that has been discussed in this course. Some examples include chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) events. If you select a chemical or biological agent, be specific, and name the agent that the terrorist(s) will use in the hypothetical scenario.<br />
Identify the federal, state, and local agencies that will be activated in response to your incident, and briefly summarize their roles and responsibilities in terrorism planning and preparedness.<br />
Identify the homeland security programs that should be involved in planning the response to the incident. Your essay should be at least one page in length.<br />
Part 2: Annotated Bibliography<br />
In the same document, provide an annotated bibliography, which summarizes at least three scholarly resources that will be used for your Unit VII Course Project.<br />
An annotated bibliography lists citations of books, articles, and/or documents. Each citation is followed by a descriptive and evaluative paragraph that identifies what the resource is about and why it is of value to your research; this is called the annotation, which can contain 100-150 words. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. The annotated bibliography will help you to organize your sources that will be used for your final presentation due in Unit VII. Each annotated bibliography entry consists of two parts: the APA-formatted reference citation followed by the summary for that reference.<br />
The annotated bibliography should be at least 2 pages in length.<br />
Parts 1 and 2 should be combined into one document (minimum three pages), which you will submit in Blackboard.</p>

2. Please give a response to the below response from my peer.<br />
In a way I feel biased because I eat meat like chicken, steak, beef, etc. but when it comes to things like dolphins, whales and seals, I feel like it is a horrible thing. Us as humans make it our priority to survive, I get it but I think we should use our resources more wisely. We are all aware pf the animal chain. When one kind of animal goes completely extinct, it affects the entire chain. Hunting is NOT the only issue when it comes to animals existence. Us as humans have the ability and power to change an environment. Some of these animals are dying due to the inability to survive their own habitat because of things like pollution and lack of food. I don&#8217;t think we should limit ourselves to eating only certain organisms but instead, we need to spread our resources out because our population is only going to evolve more and more. If humans begin to overpower our available resources, this can be a real problem and a threat to humans.<br />

For this assignment, students are required to answer questions about the scenario below.<br />
You are the president of a university with an enrollment of 10,000 students. On Tuesday at 8:15 am, facility management has informed you that a major water main break has occurred outside of your main campus building near the site of a newly constructed research building. Law enforcement is also on scene as this situation is suspected to be an eco-terror attack. Found spray painted on the wall was the following message: &#8220;Experiment on yourselves. This is your last warning.&#8221; As a result of this water main break, the following situations have developed:</p>
<p>There is no water on the main campus and in the five large dormitories that house 2,000 students.<br />
The water main break impacts the HVAC cooling system and the data center for the campus.<br />
All building services, such as toilets, drinking water, water suppression systems, and dining facilities, are out of water.<br />
The damage is extensive, and it is going to take 36 hours for the water company to fix the damage.<br />
Due to the lack of water, the buildings must be closed per the health department&#8217;s health codes.<br />
Security and facilities management personnel will need to stay onsite to perform fire watch for the buildings and to escort the utility workers in and out of the facilities.<br />
Security will also be assisting law enforcement in their investigation at the crime scene.<br />
The data center will not be staffed.<br />
No other students and staff can stay in the facilities.<br />
The students living in dormitories will require some type of temporary housing.<br />
The students on meal cards will require meals.<br />
The university will have to determine makeup policies for missed classes.</p>

<p>Upon selecting your topic, begin researching how community/public health programs in your community (city, county, or state) can help decrease the number of people using alcohol, tobacco, or other substances. Select a program, and describe the following: </p>
<p> the program you have selected,<br />
 the abuse issue (alcohol, tobacco, or other substance abuse) the program is striving to combat, and<br />
your analysis of the program&#8217;s successfulness. </p>
<p> Be sure to use descriptive epidemiology to discuss why it is a community health concern. Your APA-formatted response should be at least 500 words (not including title and reference pages). As you have learned in this course, politics are an inherent part ofgovernment and every citizen&#8217;s life. In this unit, we discussed the domestic,economic, and foreign policies utilized by the United States. In addition, wediscussed how these policies affect the United States, both domestically andabroad. This is evidenced in part by the concepts of isolationism andinternationalism.<br />
In the Unit VIII Final Project, you will accomplish the following:</p>
<p>Select one type of policy covered in the unit, describe its purpose andgoals, and explain the role each of the three branches of government in thedevelopment of the chosen policy.<br />
Discuss how the policy you chose affects U.S. implementation ofisolationism or internationalism, and describe how the media influences suchaction and decisions.<br />
Explain how each level of government is or is not affected by the type ofpolicy you have chosen.<br />
Describe how one&#8217;s political party affiliation can affect his or herbeliefs about the type of policy you have chosen.</p>
<p>Locate at least three academic articles that support your position.<br />
Your paper should consist of at least three pages. Be sure to include anintroduction in your paper. Any sources used should be cited and referencedproperly using APA formatting.</p>

Question Description<br />
You have been asked to participate in a discussion-based tabletop exercise(TTX) that will help prepare your emergency management team and others in yourcommunity for a natural disaster. Since your community is on the coast, theTTX will cover how the community will respond to a hurricane.<br />
You will begin this assignment by viewing the Adobe Captivate presentationlinked here. (Click here for transcripts of video 1, here for video 2, and here for video 3 from the presentation.) Throughout thescenario presented, you will be asked questions. Please make note of whatyour answers to these questions will be as at the end of the presentation,these notes will be used to compose a paper based on the scenario.<br />
Your paper will consist of the following sections:<br />
introduction to the scenario, including a description of the disaster yourcommunity will be facing and its impacts on thecommunity;<br />
how your community will prepare for the disaster and how your team willwork to protect the community from effects of thedisaster;<br />
how your team will respond after the disaster has passed;<br />
how your team will help the community recover from the disaster;<br />
how risks can be mitigated in preparation for future disasters;<br />
conclusion (hot wash), consisting of lessons learned after the disaster,any organizational strengths and weaknesses thatoccurred, next steps to consider when planning andpreparing for the next disaster, and at least fiveshort-term and long-term goals that your team shouldfollow up on.<br />
Your paper should consist of at least three pages with at least two outsidesources, one of which can be your textbook. In addition, utilize the CSU OnlineLibrary when locating your sources. Please use proper APA style forcitations/references and paper formatting (which includes: title page, doublespacing, one-inch margins on all sides, and 12-point font size in Times NewRoman).</p>
