This assignment has two parts. Both parts will be combined into one document for submission.
Part I: Pull-out, inclusion, and co-teaching are three instructional or service-delivery models primarily used to provide instruction and educational supports for students with specific learning disabilities. To demonstrate application of the effectiveness of these three service delivery models, discuss the following:
Research-based achievement outcomes among students with specific learning disabilities who have been exposed to each of these three service-delivery models
Research-based type and quality of teaching occurring within each of these three service-delivery models
Research-based student and teacher perspectives of each of these three service-delivery models
Implications for programmatic practices through the lens of a special education leader
Part II: Interventions for students with specific learning disabilities have primarily existed in reading, mathematics, and language. Discuss the research-based interventions found to be effective within each of these academic areas.
Part III: Response to Intervention (RTI) has been used as both a preventative and remedial intervention approach to assisting students with specific learning disabilities. Discuss the research-based findings regarding the effective structure and supportive delivery components of RTI for students with specific learning disabilities.
