Globalization Impact/Airline Industry Analysis (200). There are TWO documents required in this project:
1. Country Analysis: You will prepare an analysis of the impact of globalization on a country (either Canada, Mexico, Brazil, United Kingdom, or Germany) choose group by May 22 (See the minimal elements you must address after the due date section of the syllabus. You should include specific attention to some of the main forces associated with globalization (technology, trade and integration, offshoring and outsourcing, migration, transportation, environmental pollution) and the impact of these forces on different stakeholders (such as domestic companies, workers, farmers, indigenous cultures, and different demographic groups) within that country. You should draw implications of the issues and their impact on international management practice. The body of this analysis should be in the form of a 5-7 page double-spaced paper with references both from the text and 3-4 outside sources. You must use the headings provided and cite your references within each heading information.
2. Airline Industry Analysis of your country (not the same as the US airline industry): You must complete an analysis of Porter’s five forces: Buyers, Suppliers, New Entrants, Substitutes, and Competitors of the airline industry in your chosen country.) This section of the paper should be around 4-5 pages with information about at least 3 competitors, suppliers, buyer groups (what age groups fly most and provide the most income to the airline industry in the country), substitute travel offerings (i.e.: train system in Germany and UK), and any new entrants in the last 5 years. You must use each of the 5 forces as a heading ad cite your references within each heading information.
You will need a works cited page at the end and a cover page. Do not use Wikipedia. It is not a credible source.
