For this Assignment you will attend a Networking Event in your field of interest.
It can be Prepare for the Fair, The Klein Internship and Career Fair, a panel discussion, speaker event on campus, an event at Paley Library or something sponsored within a club or organization.
Create a blog using a Word document and upload it to Canvas. This is a blog post, not an academic paper. Blog writing is tight and (should be) entertaining.
Grading Rubric includes these requirements:
Catchy Title (nobody reads blogs with a title like “Networking Event Blog”
Event Info: What was the event? Was it a panel discussion or general mixer? If panel-who was there? Where was it held? Why did you pick this one?
Networking experience: This is a personal reflection about how this event went for you. How many people did you meet? Was there food/drink-how did you handle that? What was it like for you (hard to walk in, easy/hard to start conversations, make any contacts etc?)
Conclusion: Evaluation of event and your participation. Lessons you learned for next time.

Professional writing style (spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, usage, sentence structure, typos)
