A major theme in the explanation of crime and criminality is the subjective acceptability and objective availability of crime framework. Using this framework, you should write a paper (minimum 750 words) in which you explain why you believe that you are or are not a criminal. You do not need to provide of “laundry list” of activities that might be considered criminal. Instead, use one or more of the theories we’ve discussed in class to explain how crime is (or is not) something that is both acceptable and available to you. Be sure to discuss the theory(ies) in enough detail to demonstrate your mastery of it(them).
Be sure that you save and upload your paper using a file format (word processor) that can be accessed through Blackboard. Word (.docx) and Adobe (.pdf) seem to work well.
