1- Watch the video then answer the following question.
More women now die of heart disease than men, yet cardiovascular research has long focused on men. Why are symptoms different for women present during a heart attack and why they’re often missed?

A) Symptoms are different for women present during a heart attack because their bodies respond differently than men’s bodies. Most heart attacks is women are caused by heart arteries that create blockage and clog up the system. These minor blockages are not usually noticed quick enough considering chest pains are more obvious.
B) The symptoms are different for women because a women’s fatty plaque is
laid out all over the body. Meanwhile, men’s fat goes straight to the belly.
When men experience heart attack. The image of the fatty plaque in the
arteries shows a clot in the middle of the artery due to the explosion.
Meanwhile, in women the fatty plaque erodes.

3- As we have learned more about the environmental impacts on your personal
health this week, I think you will find the following video interesting. After
watching post your thoughts on the following to the discussion board:

have been exposed to.

I watched the video by Tshering Tobgay titled “an urgent call to protect the world’s
‘third pole.'” He discusses how climate change and the rising temperatures and air
pollution will cause the glaciers to melt in his home region, which would result in
devastating floods and damage to his home region.
I have been lucky enough to have lived in some near beach cities. The constant sea
breeze helps keep the air quality nice, although my time in downtown SD was
probably accompanied by higher pollution because of the density of traffic and even
from the shipping port nearby. Being downtown, I was probably also exposed to at
least one or two pollutants that I am not even aware of. Now that I am back to a less
populated beach town, I feel like I am back to being less exposed to anything
dangerous.

I liked how the ted talk was spoken in a serious tone and he took many dramatic
pauses emphasizing how important the topic is. we all live in and on this planet, we
need everything that it provides. especailly our two poles are melting and if we keep
increasing on the path we are now then our children wont be able to live the same
peaceful lives we do on the terms of nature.
I have lived in San Diego california my whole life and love it here, love the whether.
We really dont have enviromental issues in san diego except when the TJ river floods
dumping all the trash and pollution into our ocean that immediately covers our
beaches and makes then unusable.
