For this assignment, you will explore legal issues surrounding the provision of services to students with disabilities, as well as foundational court cases that have influenced current special education law. Write a timeline with a narrative in which you summarize laws, court cases, and events that have impacted the field of special education. First, describe the laws, cases, and events that you chose in chronological order. Then, on the last page of your work, develop a timeline graphic that shows these items “at a glance”.
