In the United States of America, a huge chunk of the labor force is taking care of people. Health care jobs feature concerning 1.9 million jobs nationwide from 2018 and 2028, faster than the typical job (“Healthcare employment as a percent of total employment”, 2018). This can be because of the aging population of US citizens over 65, since seniors use more health services than the other groups.
This results in a greater demand for healthcare jobs. Jobs represent clinical, body and support professionals like medical assistants, medical coders, health IT technicians, and laboratory staff and professionals like physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and physician assistants (“Healthcare Occupations”, n.d.).
During this time, there aren’t enough staff to cover the increasing demand. This is due to the lack of awareness concerning these health care jobs, a drought of affordable education, insufficient science lab area and clinical slots for college kids to get the licensure required, and a paucity of quality for staff. In California alone, there’s AN expected demand for pretty much 450,000 new allied attention staff up until 2024 (Zhang et al., 2020).
The necessity for additional health care workers could be a foundational problem that an entity can solve on its own. Companies need to be urged to take an outstanding approach and not be satisfied with the previous methodologies that do not work. A system should close to unravel obstacles and frictions within the student journey. Technological advancements like artificial intelligence, machine Learning, virtual reality which are wearables can be utilized as crucial instruments to assist suppliers and different companies to work more effectively.
