STEP 1:

If you are a leader of an organization, answer the following questions using knowledge and insight into ethical leadership as a mock interview.

Include the real-world (authentic) situation, type of task to be accomplished, and the sorts of higher-order thinking (analysis, reasoning, critical thinking, etc.) that were requested and/or shared throughout your course thus far. Use examples where appropriate.

2. How are ethics and leadership related to each other?

3. How does the consideration of ethics impact your decision making?

4. How does corporate culture including social responsibility impact ethics and ethical decision making?

5. Can you give examples of how ethics effect areas of your organization such as marketing?

6. As a manager (either currently or in the future) do you see yourself implementing these items in your career? Why or why not?

STEP 2:

Write an 8-10 page (not including your cover page or reference page/s) qualitative research paper on ethical leadership based on your real/mock interview. You can include short excerpts from your interview, but the paper should be written as a research paper. It should not be a narrative of the interview. You will, however, be making connections from your research to the importance of what the leader is sharing with you, or to provide suggestions and recommendations based on the leader’s answer in your paper.
